As a kid, I kept a diary full with my mundane day-to-day activities. Thanks goodness, those years have passed. On this blog I'd like to jot down my opinions, observations, memories, etc. which definitely are much more interesting than my childhood diary's entries.

Hello Kitty
Even though never admitting it, my beloved husband, Paul, loves Hello Kitty. Since he is a guy - my assumption is that Hello Kitty is more for girls than for boys - and may be shy to show his affection, he satisfies it by buying me Hello Kitty products. With a relatively wide range of the products I have, our family members and friends who notice it start giving me more Hello Kitty stuff for gifts. They think it is me who loves Hello Kitty. I don't mind really. Following is a list of Hello Kitty products in my possession: 1. pencil 2. pen 3. notebook 4. notes paper 5. stamp 6. address book 7. journal 8. folder 9. pencil case (I have 2 of them) 10. t-shirt 11. towel 12. pillow case 13. slippers 14. phone accessory 15. phone bag/case 16. stuffed Hello Kitty 17. handbag 18. lunch box. 19. draw-string pouch. 20. pez candy and pez dispenser. What is next? A toaster or a rice cooker? In addition to that, Paul, relatives, and friends buy me stuff in pink. I have a pink laptop with a pink case from Paul, a pink lunch bag from my mother in law, a pink folder, socks, t-shirts and blouses from who I forgot, etc. Although pink is not my favorite color, it is a good addition to my effort to be more colorful. When I was younger, my mother criticised me of buying clothes only in brown and green, my two favorite colors.
